WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) are the most increasing waste category, with a global growth rate of 3-5% per year, three times more than common waste.
WEEE are classified into two broad categories:
Domestic WEEE: household appliances or similar purpose.
Professional WEEE: industrial, economic or administrative appliances.
Moreover, light equipment can be considered as a different kind of WEEE, being also the most common kind of waste (about 80% of all WEEE).
Latest local regulations identify five clusters of hi-tech waste in which they are sorted, according to their type and to the needed technologies for their proper treatment:
Panizzolo WEEE Plants can work most of these waste with effective and simple machines.
Panizzolo feature patented technologies to guarantee a complete recovery of all components, keeping an eye on safety and health, being environment-friendly (with dust suction systems, soundproof insulation and separation of hazardous components) and user-friendly.
Panizzolo plants for electric and electronic waste guarantee recovery of more than 90% of processed material, giving it new value and making it a secondary raw material.
