Once again, this year the usual rendez-vous with Ecomondo at Rimini’s exhibition centre came to a close. A benchmark in Italy and abroad for companies operating in the Green Economy sector and that, like Panizzolo, provide systems to recycle and process metal and ferrous waste. This is why the end purpose of Panizzolo’s plant is to put all output fractions back on the market again as secondary raw materials. During the intense days at Ecomondo, companies from all over the world visited the stand of the company based in Padua. They were able to see for themselves the quality of the hammermills, shredders and separation systems entirely made in Italy and designed with 30 years of hands-on experience. The option of performing simple and effective treatments, reusing waste previously intended for landfills or exports drew strong interest, a calendar full of visits at Panizzolo’s offices and tangible sales negotiations.   https://youtu.be/2JByXA3mSoI   Well-established visitors alternated with new companies from emerging countries. They were all provided with an interesting overview of its products: from the renowned range of hammermills with a flexible treatment (thanks to the patented interchangeable cradle) up to the latest new entries presented at the trade fair. The wide audience of companies was very impressed, especially by the range of waste treatment systems offered. From the recycling of mixed post-consumption tins to the recovery of ferrous proler and aluminium from mixed waste from municipal solid waste (MSW). From the recovery of aluminium from profiles and guards combined with the grinding and refining of electric motors, up to the recovery of metals from WEEE and much more. Thanks to the daily management of the grinding system in the renowned head office, highly competent staff were able to deal with the treatment issues of all the visitors at Panizzolo’s stand. There was great appreciation for the new stationary hammermill model, Flex 500 Stationary Refine, which visitors were able to see and touch for themselves. The new model (90 kW and an output up to 2 tonne/h) is part of the category of Panizzolo pre-refiners designed to grind heavy waste and then recover all the metals. As well as doubling the exhibition area, this year’s edition also featured the official presentation of RAF-F and RAF-M hammermills, also in place at the Panizzolo stand. Designed for the grinding and granulation of metals (copper, aluminium and steel) from specific waste like FLUFF from mixed metals, FLUFF from flotation plants, de-ironed copper from electric motors, Fluff from WEEE treatments and much more.     Compared to the market, the new models perform mechanical treatments on far larger incoming pieces (up to 30 mm), provide a considerable reduction radio (equal to 5:1) and are structured for treatments in the presence of stainless steel and abrasive aggregates. The components, patented and unique in the sector, are the result of two years of direct testing in the renowned head office. Companies across the world were very enthusiastic and two refining plants will be launched in Europe by the end of the year. Not least important is the recognition recorded by the trade fair company behind Ecomondo. The new technological entry introduced by the patented refiners led to the release of a specific certificate in this regard. Ecomondo is a successful rendez-vous for Panizzolo, whose unfailing presence is the climax of a long series of international trade fair events held in 2018. Starting from IFAT (Munich), the busy schedule continued with RWM, Aluminium, POL ECO and the Assofermet congress in Rome. The last event will be Pollutec (from 27 to 30 November), while in January 2019 Panizzolo will be at IERC where in the auditorium it will be the star of a conference on the recovery of metals from Fluff.
