Paper mill pulper treatment

Paper mill pulper is an unsorted mixture resulting from paper and cardboard recycling processes. The paper mills recovering cellulose from separate waste collection produce considerable amounts of this material, which appears as a shapeless mass of plastic materials, wood, paper residues, metal materials, gravel and glass fragments. Until recently, the recycling process did not really allow for actual recovery of paper mill pulper, which is why this type of waste has always been disposed of in landfills, with huge management costs.

In recent years, however, new recycling solutions have been developed that can further sort out single components and significantly reduce size. Today the recovery of pulp and metal granules can be optimised thanks to paper mill pulper processing plants and shredding operations, as well as recyclable materials sorting. Although final, completely sustainable industrial technologies are not yet available, this enhanced sorting process of paper mill pulper makes it possible to market it as fuel for waste-to-energy plants, thus recovering energy and minimising actual waste.

Simple and intuitive, Panizzolo Recycling software was designed to assist the end user in all metal waste refining stages and monitor processes even remotely.
